The Company is pleased to advise that Built Environs was awarded SA Commercial Builder of the Year 2010 by the Master Builders Association (SA division) on Friday night.
Three Built Environs projects also featured in other award categories on the night. The awards received were:
- An MBA Commendation for the University of Adelaide Plant Accelerator, which was submitted in Category 4, for excellence in commercial / industrial building $5 million to $10 million.

An MBA Award for the CMI Toyota West Terrace Showroom, which was submitted in Category 6, for excellence in commercial / industrial building $20 million to $50 million.

An MBA Award for the Common User Facility, which was submitted on behalf of the MDBE joint venture with McConnell Dowell in category 11, for excellence in civil construction.
While the Adelaide Showgrounds Solar Project, which was submitted in category 4 for excellence in commercial / industrial building $5 million to $10 million, did not receive an award, the award submission contributed strongly to the overall score for Built Environs and the ultimate awarding of the MBA Commercial Builder of the Year 2010.
This is a prestigious building industry award that reflects the professionalism and quality-driven approach of the Built Environs building and engineering teams.
