The Company is pleased to advise that the Techport Australia Common User Facility (CUF) won the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) Project Management Achievement Award for an engineering / construction project in excess of $100 million on Friday, September 3.
The Project Management Achievement Awards recognise excellence in all aspects of project management across Australia. The strict submission criteria focus on the discipline of project management, rather than construction or engineering expertise, with an emphasis on planning and problem solving.
Trevor Lambert, Jim Frith and Jim Miller accepted the award on behalf of the McConnell Dowell Built Environs joint venture team.
This is the 3rd industry award for this project and follows on from the success of an MBA award for Engineering Excellence in August and a CCF Earth Award and is further testament to the group's ability to build significant, complex and technically challenging award winning infrastructure projects.
